Abby Sarkar (she/her)email: [email protected]I am a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist. I have been in practice for several years, with a background in psychology and have many years of experience of working within education in mental health roles. Alongside my practice as a psychotherapist, I also work with university students as a specialist mentor and have a passion for supporting people who identify as neurodivergent.
I work integratively and will adapt my approach depending on your needs. I work from a person-centred/relational core but am also influenced by a number of other approaches such as mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy and existentialism. From both professional and personal experience, I know how powerful and transformative a good therapeutic relationship can be. We can use our first meeting to see what you want out of therapy and how we can work together. I work from Bank Street on Thursdays. You can find out more about me on my website. |
Jon Martyn (he/him)email: [email protected]I am a state-regulated HCPC-registered art psychotherapist and qualified EMDR practitioner. I can provide art psychotherapy or EMDR separately, or offer them together as a combined approach. I’ve been providing therapy for more than 15 years with an approach that is relatable, humanistic, psychodynamic and socially engaged. I aim to create spaces where trauma and adversity can be explored, and overcome.
As an art therapist, imagination and creativity are a central part of my work and help my clients open up new ways of thinking and discover opportunities to move forward in their lives. |
Fran Cooper (she/her)email: [email protected]I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist. I have an open private practice, offered both in-person and online. In addition to my art therapy practice, I mentor university students in managing complex mental health issues, neurodiverse conditions and navigating barriers through weekly one-to-one sessions.
I have a holistic, person-centred approach that celebrates difference and individuality. I strive to create a safe space of understanding, authenticity and trust to process trauma and life’s challenges, past and present. I aim to empower clients to be the experts in their own unique mental health journey, and use strengths-based approaches to gently guide towards building a more positive sense of self. I provide face-to-face therapy at Bank Street on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. |
Fiona Hutchings (she/her)email: [email protected]I am a BACP accredited person-centred psychotherapist. I have been working with clients for over 15 years. I work with clients aged 11+ and provide sessions either face to face or online on Tuesdays at Bank Street. I also offer online sessions on Thursdays.
I'm committed to maintaining a safe and ethical practice, working alongside clients in a collaborative and creative way to help them explore their difficulties in a way that feels right for them. I am queer, my pronouns are she/her and I'm a trans affirming, disabled, and neurodivergent counsellor. I’ve worked with children, young people and adults at The Apple Tree Centre between 2016-and 2025, alongside my own caseload of private clients. Laura Woodhouse (they/them)email: [email protected]I'm a queer person-centred and experiential therapist. I offer a space to connect with yourself, explore your problems and process what you've been through — at your own pace and with someone who cares by your side. My aim is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, valued and trusted, so that you can hear, value and trust yourself in return. I want you to leave therapy feeling empowered and better able to address the challenges you face. I welcome clients from all walks of life and adjust my practice to your needs.
I've worked at Mind and in the NHS supporting people to explore their identity, address anxiety and depression, work through relationship problems and begin to heal from abuse. My approach takes into account the impact of traumatic life experiences and discrimination (e.g. racism or transphobia) on our mind, body, sense of self and relationships with others. By focusing on how you see yourself and your problems, I can support you to cope and move forward in ways that are right for you. You can read more about me and my approach on my website. I work from Bank Street on Mondays and Tuesdays. I also offer online and telephone sessions. |
